De besprekingen zijn volop lopende.
Sportdienst Gent en buurtsport, wijkregie, buurtverantwoordelijken en Etage Tropical steken de koppen bijeen omtrent dit uitgebreide dossier voor de wijk.
We houden alle sportclubs uit de wijk en partners van Umami op de hoogte zodra we meer concreetheid hebben.

UMAMI Project wijk Muide Meulestede Afrikalaan
Onder de naam Umami – voor Muide Meulestede Afrikalaan, wordt een 2 jarig gezondheidsprogramma opgesteld, met als doel mensen te sensibiliseren voor meer te bewegen, gezonder te leven via gezondere voeding en het creëeren van een aangename omgeving.

Zin om een nieuwe sport te ontdekken en even alle zorgen eruit te sporten? Goed nieuws! Op woensdagnamiddag 28 april is iedereen vanaf 6 jaar met een visuele beperking welkom op de ‘Blind(sports)date’ in Gent.

Formation de base de Gand pour les entraîneurs et reconnaissance supplémentaire Sport Gent
Fin 2018, Laure Lisbeth, Brigitte Verschelde et Michèle Martens ont obtenu la certification de formation de base pour les formateurs à Gand, ce qui a permis d’amener l’école de danse à un niveau pédagogique, professionnel et logistique supérieur

Avec « Dans aan Zee » Ostende est plus riche d’un club de sports de danse. Créé par et pour les gens de notre belle mer du Nord. Depuis 6 ans, Etage Tropical est à l’origine des danses tropicales à Ostende.

Met groot plezier en bravours maken we bekend dat VZW EtageTropical sinds 2020 een erkenning kreeg als sportclub door de Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie Brussel
Qui sommes nous ?
Etage Tropical Productions, a été fondée en 2010 par Michèle Martens. C’était alors une salle située au deuxième étage dans un hangar à quelques kilomètres du centre de Gand, Belgique. Le but était de promouvoir les danses tropicales comme la salsa, bachata, kizomba, zouk, etc.
G Salsa
Depuis 2018, Etage Tropical a reçu une reconnaissance supplémentaire de la ville de Gand pour l’offre de la G-Salsa.
Deux ans plus tard, les développements suivants ont eu lieu
